Frank Tripodi

Thousands have listened to his trend forecasts, hundreds have learned his techniques, but when all is said and done, it is one person Frank Tripodi aims to please, his client.

'Taking in a client's image, personality and wardrobe is the first step to my consultation.

After this, my goal as a stylist is to give clients the latest trend as they have visualized it. Education and teamwork have been and always will be the keys to my success,' says Tripodi. Frank Tripodi, Artistic Director at Phases Hair Studio, has travelled the

world in search of constant education. He has acquired plenty of knowledge and now shares his love of hair not only with his staff, but also with hairstylists everywhere, as an educator for the industry.

Frank has been nominated for many industry awards, including Canadian Hairstylist of the Year, Master Hairstylist of the Year and recently North American Salon Team of the Year at the NAHA gala in Las Vegas.

His hard work paid off when the Canadian Hairstylist of the Year Awards named him the Avant Garde Hairstylist of the Year. But it is not just the professional industry taking notice; the media loves what it sees as well. Tripodi's models have been published in national and international industry magazines, including the cover of Salon Magazine and a full page spread in the Toronto Star.

TV has been just as excited about Tripodi's style. Models have graced the studio of TLN's Viva Domenica and City TV Breakfast Television. City TV's popular daytime talk show Cityline took its cameras to Tripodi's salon in Toronto, Ontario and treated one lucky lady to a sensational makeover.

Tripodi not only stays on top of the latest trend, he is there while it is all coming together. Tripodi and his team at Phases Hair Studio have created masterfully fashion-forward hairstyles for Canada's top designers during Toronto Fashion Week. Fashion models in both the Spring and Fall fashion collections have displayed Phases' talented looks on the runway.

Tripodi says the key to his success is teamwork and education, but others work argue it is his sheer love for the art of hairstyling. His passion and enthusiasm exudes through every hairstyle, every interview every lecture.
